Javier Zapata (Caico) salutes the crowd after finishing 6th in stage 7, securing his overall GC victory. Stage 7, the final stage of the Tour of Virginia, started and finished just off of Charlottesville's historic downtown mall on April 29, 2007. The stage took country roads through Albemarle and Buckingham Counties, passing through the University of Virginia, the town of Scottsville, and Thomas Jefferson's Monticello before finishing in a series of circuits around downtown Charlottesville, VA.
