Rite Aid Pro Cycling is at the front working to chase the 3 man breakaway. Stage 5 of The Tour of Virginia traveled over 100 miles from Waynesboro, VA to Staunton on April 27, 2007. The stage took country roads to the south with a few rolling climbs before returning north to Staunton. Formerly known as the Tour of Shenandoah, the ToV has gained National Race Calendar (NRC) status for the first time in its five year history.
