#6 Johns Hopkins Blue Jays at #2 Virginia Cavaliers

Johns Hopkins midfielder Brian Christopher (19) shields the ball from Virginia defenseman Bray Malphrus (30). The #2 ranked Virginia Cavaliers defeated the #6 ranked Johns Hopkins Blue Jays 13-12 in overtime at the University of Virginia's Klockner Stadium in Charlottesville, VA on March 22, 2008. The loss, in front of a record UVA crowd of 7,500, was the third consecutive overtime defeat for Hopkins, the defending national champions.
