The block helped preserve a shutout as the Virginia Cavaliers defeated the #3 ranked (NCAA Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision) Richmond Spiders 16-0 in a NCAA football game held at Scott Stadium on the Grounds of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA on September 6, 2008.
