The 2009 Foxfield Spring Steeplechase Races were held at the Foxfield Race Course near Charlottesville, VA on April 25, 2009.

Currently contains photos of Automeris Io - a male Io moth.

A total lunar eclipse occurred on August 28, 2007 - photographs are from the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Afton, VA. The beginning stages of the eclipse were visable in the early morning hours before cloud cover obstructed the view. At times, the moon appeared to be a reddish-brown color.
